A new year brings new goals, and as the Academy of Music begins its' 20th year in business, our goal is to continue to work hard to help more students realize their dream of playing music. We are most grateful to the nearly 750 students who trust us each week to help them realize their dreams. We also want to express immense gratitude to all of our teachers who pour out their heart and soul each week to encourage, motivate, and guide students to the next level. Our vision 20 years ago to assemble a team of musicians and staff that would share a great passion and enthusiasm for quality music education has become a reality. We look forward to continued growth and excellence as we nurture and inspire future generations in the Grand Rapids and Jenison community. Show your spirit Valentine's week by wearing red and pink to your lesson! Don't forget to take pictures in our fun Valentines photo booth and tag us on social media!



PRACTICE CHAMP CHALLENGE!

We're encouraging students this month to improve their skills with a special Practice Champs challenge! All students who practice at least 10 days between now and February 14th will receive a special treat. Every student who completes the challenge will also have their name entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card to the restaurant of their choice! Pick up a February Practice Challenge sheet the next time you're in.

STUDIO AUTO PILOT TIPS

BE A MUSICAL LADDER CHAMP!

Every 3-6 months, students have achievement tests with their teachers and if they pass they get really cool colored bracelets, certificates, and at certain levels, trophies - customized to our music school. It's a great way to monitor your student's progress in lessons to see how they're doing. The Musical Ladder System is creating a big buzz at The Jenison Academy of Music!

As part of the Musical Ladder System, we encourage students to keep practicing so they hit those mile markers! Every time your student fills out a practice sheet, they get a Practice Champ bracelet and a spin on the wheel. Collect all 6 bracelets to get an extra trophy!

The Academy of Music loves seeing our students excited about our 🆒🆕 practice buddies! We want your child to LOVE to practice their instrument just as much as you.

At the Academy of Music when you pass your first Musical Ladder test, you receive a 🆓 practice buddy! This is a great way to encourage more practice at home.

This is the perfect low pressure way to get your students to practice more at home by saying "Your practice buddy wants to hear you play!"
